Inside this issue of Countryside Magazine August 2024:
They’ve followed their hearts and swapped lives in the limelight for one in the countryside, and Jimi Mistry and Flavia Cacace-Mistry say they couldn’t be happier. After several years contemplating a move somewhere more rural, the couple (who met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2010) decided to take the plunge at the start of the pandemic, and since January 2021 have thrown themselves into running a seven-acre smallholding near Totnes, in Devon. Read their fascinating story in our latest edition.
Elsewhere in this issue, the world’s largest sporting event, the Olympic Games, begins in Paris on 26 July and runs for three weeks through to mid-August, and we’ll be looking at the UK’s 50 most famous rural Olympians.
